ChildHope Educational Project Film
In Ethiopia, almost five million children are not in school, and more than three million of them are girls. Poverty means many parents cannot afford to send their children to school and all too often, girls’ education is not a priority. In response to this, the international children’s charity ChildHope has launched a three year project to help 14,500 of the most marginalised girls to get an education. ChildHope are delighted to have received significant funding from the UK Government to carry out this vital work. Our film about the project was directed and shot by Richard Cookson, an investigative journalist who often makes films for Channel 4’s award winning foreign affairs series Unreported World.
